These Air Fryer Baked Potatoes are crispy on the outside and perfectly fluffy on the inside. Cooked in a fraction of the time compared to cooking them in your oven. Hands down the best way to make baked potatoes!
3largepotatoes my potatoes weighed around 330g each (11.5oz)
2teaspoonolive oil
½teaspoonsea salt flakes
¼tsp freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
Scrub the potatoes then pat them dry. Drizzle a little olive oil over each potato. Rub the oil all over each potato.Sprinkle the sea salt and freshly ground black pepper over each potato then rub the salt and pepper all over each potato.Prick each potato with a fork or sharp knife 3 or 4 times. Make sure you are breaking the skin on each potato.
Cook the potatoes in a basket-style air fryer at 200°C / 400°F for 40 minutes. Turn the potatoes using tongs halfway through cooking. Check the potatoes are cooked by poking a knife into the centre of the potatoes. The knife should slide through easily and come out easily. If they are not cooked then cook them for another 5 - 10 minutes.Small potatoes will take less time and larger potatoes may take longer. Once cooked use tongs to transfer the potatoes to a plate.Leave them to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Nutritional Information - is calculated using an online nutrition tool and is approximate. it does not include extra butter and salt or any toppings.
Potatoes - The best potatoes for making baked potatoes are Maris Piper, King Edward or Desiree. If you're in the US then russet potatoes are perfect. Yukon golds and Roosters will also work well.
Air Fryer - I used a Ninja Air Fryer Max, this is not an ad or endorsement.
