Air Fryer Broccoli

Ready in just 15 minutes this Air Fried Broccoli is cooked to perfection. This healthy side dish is packed with flavour and perfectly crispy.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium head of broccoli
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ tablespoon sesame oil
  • ½ teaspoon light soy sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic salt
  • teaspoon salt
  • teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ a lemon the juice of
  • a small pinch red pepper flakes (for serving) optional

Instructions

  • Wash the broccoli head. Then using a sharp knife cut the broccoli into medium-sized florets.
  • Add one tablespoon of olive oil to a large mixing bowl. Whisk in half a tablespoon of sesame oil, half a teaspoon of light soy sauce and stir in a quarter teaspoon of garlic salt, a pinch of salt and a pinch of freshly ground black pepper.
  • Add the broccoli florets to the mixing bowl and toss it into the oil mixture. Making sure that the broccoli is covered in the oils.
  • Place the broccoli in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
    Cook at 200°C (390°F) for 8-10 minutes, depending on your air fryer.
    Using metal cooking tongs turn the broccoli halfway through cooking.
  • Once the broccoli is cooked transfer it to a serving bowl and add a good squeeze of lemon and a pinch or red pepper flakes, if you like.
